This fly is a really effective little fly, having caught me any number of mackerel over the years, not to mention pollack, whiting and scad.
You can tie it in pretty much any colour you like but my favourite colours are white, silver and chartreuse.
The fritz collar adds sparkle and can be tied in red, white or orange for use as an added attractor.
It is best fished on a sinking line.

- Take some blue winging material (or superhair, crinkle flash, gliss 'n glow or similar) and tie in over the top of the white and the silver.
4. Tie in a short piece of Fritz for flash, wrapping it round and securing it to the shank.

- Tie in a short length of chenille, using it to bulk up the head of the fly slightly, and tie off. Varnish and then add a hokkai style head.
The finished fly should look like the fly below.
